The Laona Foundation is a private non-profit company, founded in 1992 with the aim of offering guidance and technical assistance to the rural communities of the countryside across Cyprus. Over the last 15 years our actions have focused on a broad range of rural challenges, including environmental protection, climate-resilient agriculture, landscape protection, cultural heritage preservation, and fire protection. These contribute to highlighting and analyzing social and environmental challenges of the countryside, promoting solutions that strengthen the resilience of local communities.
